Are you ready for sauna?
There are four different saunas in Heinäsaari. One of the saunas is warm in the mornings in the summer season for those staying in Heinäsaari. At other times, saunas are rented for private use with hourly pricing.
Saunas 1A and 1B are in the same building. Both saunas have their own pier. In winter, it is also possible to take a dip in the opening from pier 1A. The sauna users of sauna 1 B can use the same opening. Two other saunas, a wood-heated sauna and a cabin sauna, are currently only available in summer.
Sauna 1A
Heinäsaari's small sauna (dressing room, toilet, sauna, shower room) is suitable for groups of max. for 6 people.

Heinäsaari's big sauna (dressing room, toilet, sauna, shower room) is suitable for groups of max. 10-15 people.

Wood-heated sauna ( Japanise style)

Heinäsaari's wood-heated sauna was built in 1996. The sauna was made using Japanese nail-free technology in cooperation with the fine woodworking department of the Heinola School of Handicrafts and Arts.
Wood sauna price: €30/1h incl. 2 persons + €5/person (children 0-3 years free of charge)
Good to know:
The sauna is heated by user. The first sauna shift of the day has a heating shift, when customers get an extra hour free of charge. When the sauna is already warm, sauna trees are added according to the instructions. In the summer season, cold water comes into the sauna. In winter, water must be carried from the lake. Hot water is heated on the stove in a cauldron, and the washing water is made in a dish.
Mökkisauna
A log sauna with its own small terrace at the tip of the cape.
The Heinäsaari Log sauna (dressing room, sauna, shower room) is suitable for small groups of max. for 6 people.

Good to know:
Own pier. There are no toilets in the Log sauna. The nearest toilet is located approx. 50 meters away.
